A Slumber Island is an online feature introduced in the 3.0 Free Update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that allows players to create additional "dream" islands which may be customized however they wish.^([1]) The islands exist inside the dream world managed by Luna, and can be accessed by the player when they sleep in a bed and select the option "It's slumber time." This feature becomes available upon the completion of Project K.^([2])
Each player may create up to 3 personal Slumber Islands, choosing from a selection of layout templates, and one of three sizes: small, medium, or large. In contrast to dreams, which can only be visited by a single player, Slumber Islands may host multiple players simultaneously. Multiple players can also decorate and terraform the island together; something that is not possible during multiplayer on the player's real island.
Slumber Islands require players to have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership in order to create or visit them.

I’ve been completely obsessed with the new Slumber Islands lately! 😴 This is one of my five builds so far—a lush forest island with a land bridge that leads right to my home.
Designing on Slumber Islands is such a game-changer since you can use any item you've ever cataloged with unlimited inventory. I just realized that with 8 resident players, you can have up to 24 different Slumber Islands per console... I might never leave the dream world at this rate. 😂

Morning coffee by the main lagoon on my lush bamboo jungle themed ACNH island, Dragonfly. The island carries a bonus Christmas twist envisioned as the place Kris Kringle and his elves relax after the holidays and before preparations for the next season begin.
