Finished my boards and jee i don't think I will get even pass mark in physics and maths boards and in jee is terrible, my mom and dad super toxic since when I was a kid they told “you're living in my money, you're worth nothing ” they always told me to “go and die” whenever there's a arguement of marks!! I try to talk with my dad and he's keep saying those sentences again and again, i didn't gone to trip in my entire life,theatre, vacation, something favourite to eat absolutely nothing! they kept me block with those fours walls and keep insulting please be a good parent when u grow up

so i spoke w a few teachers 2-3 .. and these are the things they told me (which might be generic but ill frame em better)

so first of we all know how the checkin is happening online where the teacher evaluates and enter the marks on the left hand side the marks awarded are according to the no. of steps done by the students that are present in the answer key (can be in own words as long as the meaning doesnt change)

so as of first april maths papers have been given to be evaluated followed by english as well so one of em was like the result will be in june since the checking going on is very slow but obviously not cause english has already started which means pcme is almost going to be done by mid april mostly and the marks are directly being exported in the marksheet so yea that

entering thing is not there anymore so results are expected during the usual time which is mid may.

Now coming to the second apart what is good here and whats bad here so techincally nothing theres nothing like GRACE MARKS because of osm , although yes moderation is provided for the sets which were hard and thats decided by the cbse team nd moderation applies to all the students who got that set but the doubt most had that it would be lenient bcs there s OSM then theres ur big NO , they are just checkin it the usual way adhering to the markin scheme but yes step marks are given (and for the ones who kept commenting stuff like "sirf given likh ke aaya hun/aayi hun" ..im sorry they wont be that considerate)

3rd thing : its still with the teachers whether to pass the student or not ...that provided you have actually put in efforts ... teachers are tryin to pass everyone who have a slight margin difference but like in manual checkin we had this thing that if a child

writes c c c in all mcqs teachers correct it for em and give em marks or redraw diagrams and lil here there writing they do for the students .. so just for a heads up NO MANIPULATION will be done with the papers this year .. they will give u marks based on whatever u have written

Now if yall are gonna ask me whats the safe score n all then 3-4 marks difference can be taken as safe score (provided that you actually wrote smtg), if you are getting in single digit or left the page blank no teacher can help

so if u have written revelant you still got hopes .. beacuse its not like teachers wont pass you .. but yes no manipulation this time w answer sheet.

4th point : This is kind of a insider the papers are going zonal wise .. so guwahati papers came to bangalore so earlier it used to not travel so far for evaluation but thru osm its better ... and yea the H.E usually have to go thru the papers of toppers and the ones below margin .. so there

H.E's also might help so teachers might make u get something near the pass mark if u have written too bad so that the H.E gives 1-2 marks n pass u.

5th point : Its very hard for the teachers initially but as they get a hang of it they are able to correct papers faster and more in number.. but yes they still have to maintain 8hrs of screen time no matter what. Also one of the chemistry evaluators said that they saw mixed results when i asked how are students doing in papers .. so dont believe yt sites saying everyones passing .. they might be since the steps in the ms have increased so that all teachers award marks and they also get a alert on screen if they missed a question so dont worry bout that.

So guys fingers crossed for everyone .. if ur set was hard cbse will give moderation to all students , teachers will pass you if ur near the threshold or 'atleast try to' and NO manipulations anymore so yea..

also for writting given u might get 0.5 marks but not in every question :)

ok so I was attempting a previous year cuet ug paper for sociology (I have attached link). I literally just gave my board very recently so I hoped to get stuff right.

BUT I WAS TAKEN ABACK WHEN I SAW THE AMOUNT OF QUESTIONS THAT I HAD NEVER EVEN HEARD OF. I have read the ncert atleast 4-5 times so I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything out. I realised a few things might be out of other chapters that have been cut.

for example: question 5, 10, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 22, 24

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF WE HAVE TO DO OUT OF SYLLABUS CHAPTERS FOR THIS YEAR'S EXAM OR NOT???

Saying i spoke with my teacher/ my parents or relative who are teachers about the osm. "you will pass if u geet 17+", "you will fail if u get less than 20"
dont believe this type of shit, either they are karma farming or just told lie by their teachers.

Even i cant say whether you will pass with 16+ or 17 mrks, it depends on teacher (in most case)

go prepare for other exams rather than believing this karma farmers or fake information spreaders

At last you will get to know ur results on mid may.

You have already written your exam and cant change it anymore (unless if ur planning on giving improvement)

long story short : wrote 12th boards this year PCM+PE+ENG. PE and Eng went really well as they are interesting subjects, but the thing is ki like rest of the subjects PCM,

for Physics I attempted every thing like every fucking question i didnt knew anything so i just copied the questions and in some question tried writing anything related out of 18 MCQs i think I got 8-10 right, rest for 2 mark questions i will get 2-3 correct, and for 3 mark and 5 mark i can get 1 3 mark correct and idk about 5 marks questions.

for Chem, same as phy attempted everything what ever i could think of wrote some thing something i rememberd sort of and really shit scared of what will happen

for Maths, again same attempted everything, copied questions where didnt knew a single thing, wrote this ques is from this chap wrote wrong formulas like tried to write the correct one but couldnt recall, i will get 8-10mcqs right in maths and like maybe a 5 marker and maybe two 2 markers and maybe a 3 marker.

the thing is I am shit scared what will happen my parents dont really know what coming and the thing is ki I read somewhere that okay CBSE gives moderation or grace or whatever but idk what will happen to me I am living in a false reality where I just dont want the result to come out but at the same time I am scared that what will happen when it comes, will i make it or not. Plus CBSE rules are not clear that on 2 paper fail there will be a year repeat or compartment. I am really really fucked up and cant even stand the thought of result.

Called one of my friend yesterday, she said she has maths lecture for jee advance…. Never once ive been this jealous of someone , i genuinely dont understand why im feeling so bad rn , its not bout her getting into IIT or sum , its more like she can atleast think that she has the calibre to prepare for IIT , meri toh utni aukaat he bhi nhi ki me sapne me bhi jee advance dena ka soch pau , here im failing my boards. I lowk feel so down since then i js dont know what to do

I’m a Class 12 CBSE student (PCMB), and I’m honestly feeling stuck and overwhelmed right now.

My classes just started this April, and I really want to score above 90% to get into a good college. But my home environment is making it extremely difficult to study.

I don’t have a device of my own. I study using my mom’s phone, but she takes it away frequently whenever she gets calls from relatives, which are often unnecessary talks & gossips .I can’t study consistently.

my father said he will not buy me a laptop cuz he don't have money. He have but he doesn't like to spend money and he also know I will study with mom's phone which is not ok and I addressed that she is always snatching it away from me whenever her mood changes and My father is not giving a F*uck about it.

I also don’t have a separate room. I study in the same room where my mom and sibling stay, and there’s constant noise, shouting, and arguments. Even at night, I can’t focus because my parents are awake and often fighting.

On top of that, my parents aren’t very supportive of my studies. When I scored 86.4% in Class 10 (ICSE) without any tuition—despite being in a SIMILAR situation—I was still treated badly, both physically and mentally. That experience really affected me.

I feel like I have the potential to do much better if I just had a basic environment to study in, but right now everything feels against me.

I’m not trying to complain—I just genuinely need advice.

How can I manage to study effectively in this kind of situation?

Are there any strategies, routines, or alternatives that could help me stay consistent and focused despite all this?

Any advice would really mean a lot.

guys i just posted that to fact check what my teacher has said by no mean i am not claiming that info to be truthful or not please dont get scared from that. a lot of people have responded to that post saying that you will still get grace marks and my teacher was probably lying or trying to me scared or wtv but yeah grace marks will still be awarded, hard papers will go under moderatiion you guys r sorted

so I quit one optional subject in class 11th even before half yearly but school forgot to update it , so I still I have that subject in my class 12th.....I did not even attend that subject class in my whole class 11th. so , the subject remove thing can be done or no? Right now

So I saw some guy's post about students who are dying of boredom after boards had ended and a lot of people had commented. I am in the same boat.

So why not make a group and just chill with each other till we all got time.

I am going to try to keep only those whose boards have ended. Also will try to keep gender ratio similar so that group can be diverse and not saturated with one type. Will try to keep not more than 10 member and at least 5 members.

Also please give your suggestions on where to make the group - telegram, instagram or discord.
