We are a group of 16-year-olds. We made a film about the 13,044 students we lose every year to "The Routine."
According to the NCRB, one student in India dies by suicide every 42 minutes.
Most people call this "academic pressure." We call it an autopsy of our identity. For the last few months, my team and I (all Class 10/11 students) have been working on X-01—a cinematic "autopsy" of the 16-hour academic cycle that reduces us to a decimal point on a marksheet.
We were tired of seeing the "success stories" in the news while the silence in our study halls grew louder. We wanted to show the reality of the 03:47 AM desk lamp, the "Space Black" isolation, and the feeling that we are biologically alive but spiritually put in a waiting room.
"ज़िंदा तो हम तब भी नहीं थे।"
We just released the teaser today. We don't have a massive production budget or a PR team. We just have a camera, a mission, and a story that we are all living through right now.

Whether you're a student, a survivor of the system, or someone who cares—please watch and share your thoughts. We aren't looking for "views"; we're looking for witnesses.
The silence ends here.
