Hey all, sorry if this is the wrong place, but I couldn’t really find a more relevant sub to post in.

I need to replace the pump on my Bonaire Durango swamp cooler, and as I disassembled it I became a bit discouraged.
I was expecting some sort of disconnect point on the power line to the pump, but it seems to be run directly to the control unit (?) of the cooler.

Running out of the control unit, next to the pump power line is another line that ends in a seemingly regular 110 power plug.

My question is am I able to use that plug to power a new pump that uses a standard power connection, or do I need to open up the control unit and copy the connections of original pump power line?
