While cleaning out weeds today, this little guy popped up and jumped on the wall.
Now I’m from an area of the states where my first thought was Brown Recluse => DEATH BITE.
But I’m here. So, anyone know what this is? I’m down in Kyushu…
Thanks!
LOCATION:
Found in Calgary, Alberta
More info:
So yesterday I found one of these in my bedroom in the corner of the room, was just walking up the wall but found no web or anything. Had to get rid of it as it was my room and just no.
Today I found this one up on the ceiling of my bedroom, but since it was the ceiling I was able to use a tall cup and a piece of cardboard to knock it off and into the cup.
Any chance of ID'ing it for me? I tried to get a few pics of the underside but it's really hard, but from what I can see, there doesn't appear to be any sort of defined or even somewhat clear looking triangle or hourglass or double Reverso tip to tip triangle death match sort of thing.
Any thoughts?
Apologies for the bad quality 🥲
Hey guys/girls First Time posting here. Found this little guy in victoria, Australia. Clothes peg for scale. What is he?
Found in my garage in Northern Utah, not sure if it’s some kind of widow or what is going on with the abdomen…
Sorry for the bad pictures, lighting and focus were tricky
Northern Virginia, USA and its about an inch long if I had to guess. I was looking for four leaf clovers when I saw it frantically running through the grass and it just would not stop for me to get the pictures I wanted. I didn't want to catch it so I just left him be. I'm used to seeing bizarre spiders around and usually I can figure out what they are, but this one is a mystery to me.
It’s at the window above my bed. is scary
is it gonna kill me :(
i also know this video doesn’t show it off well, has been hard to capture a good photo of it as it hides in its web that it’s made inside the gap of my window (if that makes sense)
(Melbourne, Australia)
Was not sure if this guy is friendly(venomous) or not. Please help me out for the next time I see one.
Seen a couple (maybe same one) in my kitchen last few days
Southern Illinois. Found them on my arm after coming in so I took them back out to the yard. Pretty quick, it was hard to get my phone to focus with them being so small lol.
