[Help] No signal/no SIM after downgrading from Evolution X Android 15 to Android 14 on Redmi 5 Plus

My Redmi 5 Plus was running Evolution X Android 15 but apps kept randomly crashing, so I downgraded back to Android 14

At first everything worked fine and I had network/signal for about 2 days, but now suddenly my phone shows no signal bars at all. I already tried rebooting multiple times but nothing changed.

Has anyone had this happen after downgrading ROMs? Could it be a modem/baseband issue or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

I’m an international student thinking about applying to Arab Open University in Riyadh for the Bachelor’s program in Network and Security.

I wanted to ask:

  • Is it easy for international students to get accepted?
  • What are the academic requirements? (high school grades, IELTS, placement tests, etc.)
  • About how much should I expect to pay per semester/year including tuition and other fees?
  • How is the university overall for IT / Network & Security students?
  • Are the classes flexible and taught in English?

I’d really appreciate hearing from current students or anyone who studied there. Thanks!

I genuinely only need a D, I’m not aiming for anything higher than that.

For context, I barely passed IGCSE Maths A, but not because maths was impossibly hard for me — it was mostly pure laziness and barely studying. Now I actually want to lock in and take it seriously for these next 3 months.

My basics are shaky right now but I can probably study around 3–4 hours a day consistently. I’ve heard S1 is one of the easier papers to improve in because the questions repeat a lot.

So realistically:

  • Is a D achievable in 3 months?
  • What topics should I focus on the most?
  • Should I mainly grind past papers?
  • Any resources/youtube channels you’d recommend for Edexcel?

Would appreciate honest advice, especially from people who started off weak in maths.

I’ve seen some mixed opinions online—some people say it’s fine, while others say they didn’t really enjoy it. So I’m a bit confused.

Is it actually that bad, or is it just exaggerated opinions from a few students?
How is the teaching quality, campus life, and overall experience there?

I’d really appreciate honest answers from current or past students. Thanks! 🙏
