Is Cheers worth a watch if I've seen Frasier first?

Is it similar at all in terms of long-term development? I ask mostly because I recently learned that back when the show ended they apparently polled the audience asking what character should get a spinoff, and Frasier was close to last place

It's the fact that your life is now completely dominated by one of the worst invisible physical disabilities a person can have. Believe it or not, it's possible to have a day where I'm barely reaching my higher consciousness with no seizure symptoms while my epilepsy is still causing my body to run a marathon on an empty gas tank. George Carlin has this joke about the flu on an old album that I think perfectly sums up the experience (or at least mine) of having bad epilepsy days BEFORE having a seizure that day:

"People treat you nicely when you're sick, but only once you're officially sick. If you 'just don't feel good' then you're just a big pain in the ass to everybody around you."

I know the game lets you save between levels but based on the descriptions alone I can't tell if this means it just kicks you out of the level when you die, or if your save file gets erased automatically because it's ultra-nightmare
