I made a small Python script that converts Pathbuilder 2e JSON exports into clean, readable text formats. Useful for sharing builds on reddit, etc.

Two output formats:

• Build progression - shows your choices level by level (ancestry boosts, feats, skill increases, etc.)
• Static sheet - complete character sheet with final stats

Usage:

textbuilder2e.py character.json --static

Or read directly from clipboard with -c.

Free, open source, no dependencies beyond Python 3.10+.

I just started reading (listening to) the book dungeon crawler Carl. Pathfinder is name-checked as a reference alongside D&D

Hello. In /r/Pathfinder_RPG they had two types of spell-related periodic posts:

1. daily spell discussion, a different spell per day, encouraged conversation about it

2. what are your favorite spells by rank and by tradition ("What are your favorite first rank arcane spells?")

Should we get posts like that over here? I would enjoy it! Thoughts?

I’m really enjoying this episode that is going deep on nostalgia. I’m a similar age to Dan and recall this movie…but they started talking about Tobey McGuire and I was certain it was Jason Schwartzman. Obviously I’m wrong. What was I thinking of? Dunno
