Hey everyone, I’m looking to get deeper into coffee and would love some advice.

Most of my experience so far has been with instant coffee or cafe coffee, but I want to start exploring “real” coffee more seriously at home. The problem is I don’t want to jump straight into super strong or very bitter roasts since my palate probably isn’t there yet.

What would you recommend as the best next step for a beginner?

• What roast level works best for someone transitioning from instant coffee?
• Which brewing method is beginner-friendly?

Would love recommendations that are smooth, balanced, and easy to enjoy for someone new to specialty coffee.

I work in a profession where I've to handle 20-30 calls daily – many times while travelling or driving.
