I'm a bit bummed because I specifically wanted wireless charging when I set out to buy a car. 2026 Mazda CX-50.

Everyone else's phones (all iPhones) charge just fine. It seems specific to my Pixel 10 Pro.

Does anyone know if this could be some setting?

So far I've tried taking the case off, turning NFC off, turning adaptive battery and adaptive charging off, toggling the "prioritize ac signal" setting on the car's menu.

Yes, I've read all the horror stories about the charger itself. Yes, I'm probably the 300th person to complain on this site about it.

I think my problem is different.

Pixel 10 Pro charges every time I set it on the pad but only for about 5-10 seconds and it starts flashing red and a message pops up saying "wireless charging unavailable".

The salesman, my girlfriend and one of my friends have all put their phones on the pad with zero failures. They have iPhones but I don't know what kind.

Maybe this is a software thing or my phone settings but it's so frustrating!
