looks very, VERY janky to me, especially the embroidery, but wanted a second opinion to make sure
It just brings me sheer joy to look at these over and over again.
The epilogue part is currently not translated, so I don't know if Maki got into K University or not, but I'm highly assuming that he did.
I feel hollow. I feel hollow, knowing that I have to live without this series for months, and after Vol. 10, the series will be over. I feel like one of my vital organs are being taken away from me and I am not able to do anything. That's how much I've bonded with this light novel, with the characters, everything.
Volume 9 is the embodiment of "Life doesn't wait for you". We see our high schoolers trying to face with the fact that life won't wait for them, so they have to catch up with life instead; and that their youth days are getting closer and closer to an end. The realization that it is now their turn to become adults, go to university and shape their lives themselves. We've all been through this, but reading about it, I reminisced over my high school days and my entrance exam process, it was nostalgic.
Umi taking a sudden but firm decision to be a teacher over her now-former first choice university, her lecturing Maki as a teacher already, Maki trying hard to be ready to establish a future for his future family, and the others striving for their lives as well. It was really wholesome to see all of this. Maybe not much happened in terms of drama or anything, but this volume is definitely one of my favourites just because how well it reflects on the aspects. I'll miss the usual group of five SO MUCH. :(( Note: Turning back to the anime/manga after reading this volume feels so strange. Like, you were just a student taking your university entrance exams, what do you mean you're now back to being a first year high schooler?
Now we just have Volume 10 left. Good grief. I don't want it to end. I just don't. I hope the series sells good enough for us to get side stories or just some extra content. Until Volume 10 gets released, goodbye. This was a place that helped me vent about my feelings to somebody, so thank you all for reading my useless opinions at least once.
reading the ninth volume of the ln, then moving on to the 6th anime episode, and to the new manga chapter thereafter. i'm completely occupied by this series, couldn't have asked for more
what do we think
