Are designer purses worth the price?

I visited a fashion store to buy designer purses for a family event two days ago. I wanted something stylish and durable. I also wanted something that looks premium. But when I checked the purses I felt disappointed. Some looked fake and the material felt weak. Some stitching did not look neat. I could not trust them. I could not pick one confidently. Then I visited another store in the same market. Some purses looked stylish but they were too costly. Some were affordable but the design looked old. Some seemed perfect at first but the finishing was not good. I remembered I bought a purse last week that lost shape quickly. That made me hesitate even more and I felt confused. To check more variety and options while scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I found many designer purses. Some looked premium and strong. Some were simple and low price. Some had better designs and colors. There were many styles available. This made me excited but also confused again. Now I am thinking should I buy this designer purse online for more variety or should I check a local store for better quality? What would you do in my place?
