To all the new players picking up Mafia II on Prime, don’t skip the DLCs.

I’ve noticed a lot of people joining the sub this week because Mafia II DE is free on Prime right now. If you’re playing for the first time, please make sure you actually play Joe’s Adventures.
Even though the main story with Vito is the masterpiece, Joe’s perspective adds so much context to what was happening in Empire Bay while Vito was away. Plus, the atmosphere of this game in the snow is still unmatched 16 years later.

There is a specific kind of depression in Liberty City that I haven't found in any other game.

I was just walking through Hove Beach at 4 AM in-game while it was raining. The gray fog, the distant sirens, the sound of the subway overhead... Rockstar peaked with this atmosphere.
Los Santos feels like a playground, but Liberty City feels like a character that actively wants you to fail. It’s gritty, it’s ugly, and it’s perfect. Even with the hype for Vice City and all the neon lights of VI, I feel like I’m always going to come back to this rainy bridge in Broker just to feel something.

Public lobbies in 2026 are basically a warzone for people who have nothing left to buy.

Is it just me, or has the griefing reached an all-time high lately? I know it’s a crime game, but trying to do a simple sell mission in a public session right now feels like crossing a minefield.
It feels like because everyone has hundreds of millions and every vehicle in the game, the only content left for some people is just making sure nobody else can play. I’ve officially moved to Invite-Only for everything, which is a shame because I miss the random car meets and accidental friendships.

It just hit me that after this year, the Walking Dead Universe might actually be… over?

I was looking at the 2026 schedule: Dead City S3 this summer and Daryl Dixon S4 this fall. Since S4 was confirmed as Daryl’s final chapter at SDCC, we’re looking at a completely empty slate for 2027 for the first time since 2010.
I know we’ve all joked about the "zombie show that never dies," but seeing the finish line feels weirdly heavy. Do you guys think AMC is planning a secret "Season 12" reunion with Rick to wrap it all up, or are we really just going to let the franchise end with Maggie and Negan in Manhattan?

Bully turns 20 years old this October. Why does it feel like Rockstar has completely forgotten us?

It’s officially been two decades since we first stepped onto the Bullworth campus. Since then, we’ve seen GTA IV, V, VI, and two Red Dead games, but the "stepchild" of Rockstar is still sitting in detention.

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time in 2026 is a completely different experience.

I finally caved and bought the Ultimate Edition during the last sale. I remember the launch disaster, so I stayed away for years, but holy hell—is this the best RPG ever made?
Night City in 4K with Path Tracing feels more real than the actual city I live in. The way the NPCs react now, the vehicle combat, and the sheer emotional weight of the Phantom Liberty ending... it’s a masterpiece. I actually feel lucky that I waited until the "final" Patch 2.31 to play it, because I can’t imagine playing a version of this game without the Metro system or the reworked perks

5 straight Final Fours. Is this the most dominant Olympiacos era we’ve ever seen?

Seeing the 3-0 sweep against Monaco just hit different. We’ve officially matched Fenerbahce’s 2015-2019 run, and with Vezenkov officially locked in as the 2025-26 MVP, it feels like the stars are finally aligning.
Bartzokas has turned this team into a machine. To win those games by a total margin of 74 points is actually insane for playoff basketball. We’ve had the "heartbreak" in the last few years, but with the Final Four being in Athens this year, does anyone actually see us losing in the semi-finals to the Fener/Zalgiris winner?

Am I the only one who thinks Grace’s sections in Requiem are actually scarier in Third-Person?

I know the "default" for Grace’s horror sections is First-Person to give it that RE7/Village dread, but I just finished a 3rd-person playthrough and I honestly think it’s superior.
In 1st-person, you lose the scale of the "Children" and "The Girl" chasing you. Seeing Grace’s physical reaction—the way she stumbles or looks back in terror—adds a layer of tension that you just don't get when you're a floating camera. I get that 90% of people are sticking to 3rd-person for Leon’s action bits, but I feel like 3rd-person Grace is the "hidden" best way to experience the horror.

Can we talk about how "Brainrot" games have completely killed the Discovery tab?

I remember when the Front Page actually had variety. You’d have a mix of horror, obbies, high-effort shooters, and unique sims.
Now? It’s just a never-ending wall of "Skibidi Toilet Tower Defense," "Grimace Shake Obby," and "Steal a Brainrot." It feels like developers have completely given up on original ideas because they know they can just slap a trending meme on a low-effort tycoon and get 50k concurrent players.

Realizing that "Map Knowledge" is a bigger buff than any Operator buff in the game.

I’ve been stuck in Silver for a few seasons, and I finally realized it wasn't my aim—it was my lack of verticality.
I spent the last week in Custom Games just blowing up floors with Sledge and Buck to see exactly where the beams are and which angles cover the bomb chassis from the floor above. It’s insane how much the game opens up when you stop playing it like a horizontal shooter.

Is it just me, or has Fortnite basically become a "Platform" rather than a Battle Royale?

Does anyone else feel like the "identity" of Fortnite has shifted so much that the BR mode is starting to feel like just one of many side quests?
I was looking at the player counts today and it's wild to see how many people are split between LEGO, Festival, and Creative maps compared to the core game. Don't get me wrong, I love that I can play as Peter Griffin and hit the Griddy after a win, but I kind of miss the days when the biggest news was just a new POI or a single wacky item like the Junk Rift.
Now it feels like Epic is trying to build a Metaverse where the "Battle Royale" is just the lobby. Do you guys prefer this "everything-for-everyone" era, or do you think the game is losing its soul by spreading itself too thin?

Trailer 2 convinced me: Lucia isn't just the protagonist, she's the 'villain' of Jason’s story. GTA6

Hear me out. After re-watching Trailer 2, Jason looks completely exhausted/indifferent while Lucia is hyped up. Rockstar’s official bio says she’s 'ready to change the odds in her favor—no matter what it takes.
I’m leaning into the theory that Jason is the one trying to go straight (ex-military) and Lucia is the one dragging him into the drug trafficking/extortion racket.

7 years later, which 'crazy' RDR2 theories have actually been proven, and which are just total myths? RDR2

I’m looking for the definitive list of theories that have either been confirmed by hidden files/scripts or debunked by the community.
**The Third Meteorite:** Did anyone ever actually find it in the game files, or is 2/3 just a Rockstar troll?
**Gavin:** Is he actually an NPC we meet, or just a figment of Nigel’s imagination (split personality)?
**Strange Man:** Is the theory that he is 'Death' or 'God' basically canon at this point?
