Do you think the FIBA world cup will ever have the same prestige for basketball the same way FIFA world cup has prestige for football ?

In football the FIFA world cup is like a huge party among football fans where the whole nation gathers to see their national team play and every football player has a dream of winning it. The same goes for other sports as well like rugby or volleyball. In basketball however, lets be real, the world cup isn't taken that seriously even by basketball fans. Top players find excuses to skip participating in the competition because they dont care about it that much. Do you think this will ever change and the FIBA world cup will become the pinnacle of basketball ?

Daily guessing game for Euroleague players

What’s up everyone, I made a little EuroLeague daily guessing game called Sportdle.

You get one mystery player per day and try to figure him out from the clues. I built it mainly because I wanted something like this for EuroLeague fans and couldn’t find one.

Besides daily, it also offers unlimited random players!

It’s still a work in progress, so if you try it, I’d honestly really appreciate feedback on the difficulty, clues, and overall feel.

Tyrique Jones hit with higher penalty than even Panathinaikos requested. Olympiacos criticized the Greek League ruling on Jones, arguing he received a harsher punishment than even PAO requested, including a €30K fine and three-game suspension compared to PAO's suggested €10K fine.
