Furnace Fest Lineup is out

here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DYM9PW1gsQ4/

It's okay overall..but nowhere near the classic furnace fest type lineups. It's definitely way too much like all the other generic festivals.

It definitely has the feel of almost all the other heavy music festival vibes.

A huge surprise is Underoath doing Define the Great Line. That alone makes me want to go.

There are a few good hardcore/metalcore/classic FF-style bands there, but there are definitely a few that were sought out by the new owners of the festival.

Put me down as a hard maybe.

The fact the whole weekend is $150 is pretty good overall though. Slightly disappointed in the headliners, but it should still be a good time.

How to tighten wire to connector without it squeezing out?

Here is the video since I can't upload it here:

https://imgur.com/a/oZc7nOQ

Also, of anyone can help me with this situation: I had a professional electrician with his own company wire this ev socket.

He used the cheapest materials known to man, including and especially for the receptacle. Sure enough, it melted and almost caught fire (I had to cut it off from how much it melted...image here: https://imgur.com/a/QDixdgy ).

Now I bought the leviton heavy duty receptacle (not Hubbell but this is much much better) but the wires are super short. Since it's six awg and close to the wall, they don't bend easily (or at all)when I connect them to the receptacle (also using a torque screwdriver to get the proper 75 in lbs of torque for the screws).

Is there a fix for all this? A way to easily connect the wires to the receptacle and bend them back so I can put the receptacle in the box?

Please be kind... I'm so discouraged by all this ...from the melting to possibly screwing up my evse, to maybe having to pay someone to fix this...I connected my EV charger at my last house myself and never had an issue :(

I'm trying to install this damn toilet. I have a standard 4x3 flange connected to the stub out. The flange sits flush on the tile (which is on level cement).

When I try to install the toilet, it is slightly tilted forward. The first picture is it resting on the flange. The second is with a bit of pressure on the back of the toilet to make it "straight". It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the toilet's front lifts up about 1/8-1/4 of an inch higher than the first picture.

I've also attached pictures of the flanged, which is connected to the stub out via abs cement, I've drilled through the tile and cement and connected it all and it isn't moving and it is flush on the tile.

What in the hell am I doing wrong.

**sorry for the frustration in this post. I'm losing my mind and plumbing has been the hardest aspect of finishing my basement.

Edit: I know of plastic shims. My issue is that if I use shims, doesn't the toilet seem too high? And filling it with caulking will make it look awful?

Edit 2: got it all done. Yes, the flange sucked and my next one will be either metal if it sits on top of flooring or this one if it's level with flooring. I used one tiny toilet shim at one side and everything stayed level. I also used a wax ring without sleeve and it worked perfect after working it down. Everything worked perfectly after being all connected despite having the tank against the wall. But by awful coincidence, the water line hose has a leak in it but that's neither here no there.

I want to thank everyone that gave constructive criticism. Good hints and help and reassurance with the shims and options!
