Has anyone had any luck with dried butter beans?

I always cook my beans by soaking them, and then adding them to the slow pot for about 7+ hours until tender.

I never have any luck with butter beans and the skin separates and is tough.

Has anyone found a way to do this? I don't have an instant pot.

This is an advert for a sticker but I really like the water bottle. Can't make out the orange logo, any ideas?
