I really enjoyed doing this mani for my partner, they picked out their stamps and the colours for the lacquers and everything, I just put it together. I love pretending to be a nail tech for them, saying "Hi honey okay what are we doing today mmhmm excellent let's make this happen" haha!

I actually didn't keep this mani because my stamping was off on my other hand (tremors made it very challenging 😅) BUT I loved it for the short while that I had it! This silvery green made me so happy, I felt like I had magical jewels for nails!

I really wanted a rainbow magnetic topper and couldn't find one accessible to me in Aus, so I made one! I have named this "Pookmagic!" since he helped me create it. He helps calm my tremors with his purring, which made this creation possible.

I chose to do a Mooncat order for my birthday! I chose Dewpearls as my reward as the raremade looked a little dark for my translucent skin 😅

I can't wait for them to arrive, and I only just put the order through!

I wore this polish because it reminded me of dragon scales and I've been playing Spyro lately! It was actually really opaque, sheer at first but built up really quickly, it has tons of dimension and I love looking at it sparkle! I hope it doesn't stain my nails, we shall see! haha

Meet The Pook! My youngest rescue baby at 2 years old! He is deaf, but I still read him all the comments he gets and he purrs and rolls around and shows me his big round belly, so I feel like he knows the wonderful things you say, even if he can't hear them!

He was rejected by a breeder for being black and deaf with pica, and needed a home, so here we are! I had just lost my 20yr old rescue girl to cancer (we escaped dv together and she was my entire world) and I was certain I could never love anyone ever again, but then this little guy needed a home and it felt like my heart grew to make room for him to fill. He is my little whackadoo, my Pookins, my silly and sleek little baby boy.

The Pook loves to make his big batches of blanket biscuits on a blanket I crocheted for him, and his favourite toy is a pingpong ball! his favourite treats are Greenies in the chicken flavour, and he loves to chase them around the house.
