hi, im a singer-songwriter, and i didnt wrote nothing for at list a year, cause i usually write about being in love, heartbreak or even when i had depression i wrote about that (now im on meds some im more mentally stable) i didnt have a relationship in 3 years, so i kind of dont know what to write about. i joined some online writing courses and it starting to help, but i still feel like my songs are not good enough. i always listen to my favorite artist and feel like i would never write like them. do you have any solutions for these two problems?

i am a singer-songwriter (been takimg singing lessons for the last 10 years), and im always trying to compose melodies for my songs but it comes out just bad. i wonder if its because i never learned musix theory, and maybe if i will learn that ill get better at composing melodies.

does anyone knows a good interactive app for android for learning music theory? something kinda like duolingo
