I'm a recently self-published fiction author and I'm looking to write my sequel - I came across some Egyptian mythology threads in a few historical fiction books and want to learn more about it, maybe including some in my coming sequel. Does anyone have any recommendations of non-fiction books, articles, anything really, where I can learn more of the mythology gods/entities/stories?

I'm very aware of the rule No AI so I won't share my book cover, however, I'm finding the fact I used AI and my actual embroidery on the cover of my first book as a bit of a block. The cover includes my embroidery below, but i'm struggling to find a tool to use to bring it into a book cover, does anyone have any ideas? Suggestions so far have been to connect to a book cover artist, but as a proud crafter, I want to be able to create one myself to get rid of the block!!
I recently self-published a book but getting blocked trying to get my books in stores as the cover was designed with the help of AI (though the embroidery on my cover is real and my own). What are the alternatives to AI for designing a cover? Preferably low in cost! Thanks in advance.
