Nice mention in the Michael Movie
Don't know if anyone has posted about this, but I loved the actual shout out given in the Michael biopic to Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys. For the win.

I believe this is a sugar maple. It almost looks like a burl grew outward? Would be interested in any insight.
I recently started using Kerastase Genesis as a blowdry protector. If I would curl my hair after it was dry, on the same day or immediately after drying, would I need to re-apply the product or is the hair shaft still coated?
I've passed this tree every day for 25 years and just today saw this huge, fresh crack up to the top. What could have caused it?
I'm headed to King of Prussia this weekend and might try to get a skate in on my way back home. Rinks I could potentially hit:
Fantasy Skating Center (near Reading)
Roller Roost Sports Arena (Pottsville)
Ringing Rocks Roller Rink (Pottsville)
I've already been to Skateway (Shillington). Not interested in Inline 309 (Hatfield) because it has sports tile flooring.
IF I were to venture towards Philly (and that's probably a no) my options include better rinks like Millennium Skate World, Rolling Thunder, and Philly SkatePlex.
I haven't been to The Overlook (Lancaster) or Mt Gretna (Mt Gretna) yet but those two are closer to my home so I'd rather skate someplace new.
Thoughts? Especially on the first three?
I'm self-teaching myself botany and am looking for an app that will allow me to upload my photos, tag them, and make a few notes. As great as iNaturalist is, unfortunately it's not designed for this. I checked out a few "nature journal" apps and Wonderland was as close as I could find, in that it allows me to create a "Portfolio" with folders. But its main goal is also community sharing, which isn't my goal, and it takes a few steps to get to this section.
Before I put a lot of work into my Wonderland portfolio, are there any apps that I'm missing? Ideally I'd love to categorize each plant with the following:
Native / Invasive
Season
Habitat
Notes
What does everyone else use?
I read that the Coanda smoother doubles as a dryer. I just purchased the Original (not the ID) on Marketplace and assumed I needed to find a secondhand Pre-Styling Dryer attachment. But some old Reddit threads indicate that the Flyaway attachment is also dual. I haven't used it yet but is it, or isn't it?
I'm looking for the large round brush in the nickel/copper combo. But IntegrityTech sells it for $65, which is insane given that Sephora sells it (different color combo) new for $40. There are a bunch of others on eBay with stock photos and I don't trust them. There's also one on Poshmark, but how would I know if it's real or not? Dyson doesn't seem to sell either the large round brush or the pre-dryer attachment as parts.
Earrings are on the way, and I'm working on a vintage cassette Walkman. It's been fun, and finding pieces with tags is always a plus.
So after six months of using a Drybar blowout brush, and was feeling it was waaaay too hot. Sometimes I'd almost burn my fingers just from touching my hair, and surprise, I've been having a lot of breakage lately. I believe in investing in quality (that was my first foray into blowout brushes) and figured, go big or go home with my upgrade. I bought an Airwrap Original locally for $200 and...O.M.G. Drybar heading to the TRASHCAN.
However, the set is missing the fast dry head (the oval thing) but maybe it didn't come with it in the first place. I don't see the option to purchase one on the Dyson website. I can get one on eBay, but want to make 100% sure it's compatible with my Airwrap before I do. Same with the large round brush?
Any tips for use, storage, etc. of this expensive and amazing piece of technology?
I've always used either Derby Laces or Bont (once, I think). What about hockey laces or even regular shoe laces? Yay or nay?
Sounds like a silly question but...I'm having a hard time imagining buying a single (vinyl, 8-track, cassette, or CD). What did you do -- listen to it once and then rewind and listen again? Or were you forever switching out your media? I came off the tail end of CDs in my life but how and why did people listen to single tracks?
I'm using a widget from Common Ninja, but it won't allow me to lessen the height of the block any more than I already am. Part of the problem (I think) is that originally the widget had an image circle and a star rating, both of which I removed. But if I want to alter the widget CSS, it wants me to upgrade my account which I'm not going to do. Is there any workaround for this?
Slideshow doesn't allow me to caption images, so that obvious solution won't work. Adding a gallery with captions is limited because the character limit for the caption is such (256?) that I can't include the entire testimonial, and there's no way for a user to scroll back and forth with dots or arrows. I actually would love something like this but not the whole template, just the widget. Thoughts?
Someone locally is selling an Airwrap Long. What is the benefit of the long version / what hair types is it designed for (opposed to the regular length)?
Also, if a unit is out of warranty and breaks, does Dyson support repairs, or do you have to buy a new unit?
Affordability-wise, the original is all I can afford (refurbished). I did just want to check though, is the Low setting on both relatively cool, and if so, is it essentially the same on both models?
My Drybar has a "cool shot" setting but it's not really cool at all. Normally I give my hair a cooldown blast with my mom's hair dryer (not sure what brand but it's high end and has a delightfully cool setting).
