What the hell is this bs??

Got to the station, scanned in, walked to my cart and this is what I see. I couldn't believe my eyes,, I have a 3 hour block, like what am I supposed to do with the rest of my time?? And I was so looking forward to delivering 45 packages to businesses that are closed for the day and apartments that have no friggin code to get in.

Looks like I won the lottery today. Brace for my next bs route tomorrow

On a side note,, I had to fight through 100 migrants, 95% latino, just completely clogging the entrance and scan in station. They are all just standing there still, right now as I get ready to leave. The parking lot is completely stuffed with their cars, not a parking spot to be found anywhere. Now I know why offers have all but disappeared in my area. Anything that pops up, no matter what it is, and always base pay, gets snatched up in under a second. I know because I spent a half a day last week furiously clicking to get a block. More than 50 blocks i clicked on and lost all of them in under a second. It got to where I couldn't even look at what I was clicking i had to click so fast and still didn't get the block. It was crazy

Anyway,, stay safe out there y'all

What the fuck. I scanned in and saw this and just shook my head. 1 hour of driving just to get to my first stop. Miles in between stops. One stop had me driving 15 minutes down winding country roads to deliver one package,, then 18 minutes back the way I came for the next. Why they had to send me all the way out there is beyond me. There are at least 5 Amazon warehouses much closer they could have shipped from. Then when I was finished, it took me over an hour to drive home. That block fucking sucked.

And before anyone says, oh just scan, see where it is and refuse the block,, I could not. I already have too many dings lately for things out of my control. There's a car accident and you are sitting on the highway for 30 minutes and miss your block, ding. Or there is a fucking train stopped across the road to the only access to the station, ding. 2 weeks ago my father had a heart attack and I had to rush to the hospital, ding. No shit. I called support and told them what was happening and they told me sorry but I have to keep the ding, hope your dad is OK. I was speechless. My dad had to spend a few days in the hospital but thankfully he is ok. I get caught delivering in a thunderstorm, raining so hard I can barely see 5 feet in front of me. I unfortunately had a couple late deliveries that night,, ding. It's ridiculous. I've had bad block luck the past couple weeks and every little thing that happens is a ding. It's like Amazon has zero compassion and doesn't care,, very little leniency on things out of our control. Sorry for the rant. It's just been one thing after another and Amazon has been zero help. So yeah, I could not just drop this block. Had to suck it up and take to more than 2 hour round trip, not including all the miles in between. Thanks Amazon!
