Unused annual pass for family member that passed away

Hi all, I'm hoping someone may have experience or insight on this topic. My mom purchased an annual pass last year. It hasn't been activated and she passed away about a month ago. Her husband has an annual pass of his own. Myself and my fiancé both have annual passes that are up for renewal in June. Before I call Disney to figure out what can be done with my mom's unused pass, has anyone here dealt with this issue before? Can you let me know what to expect? Trying to make this process as painless as possible, for obvious reasons. Thank you in advance.

Note: Lots of advice to contact Disney here, which I am going to do (as mentioned in the post). I'm just hoping that someone out there may have dealt with this before and can prepare me for what to expect. I know it's easy to speculate or assume what Disney might do, but because this has been a hard thing to navigate and grief makes these conversations a bit anxiety-inducing, I'd love firsthand experiences if they exist.

Local grave marker builder & installation?

Does anyone have experience hiring third-party for a grave marker in the RVA area? The cemetery I'm working with is quoting about $3.5k for the most basic granite marker with nearly zero customization and I know there has to be a cheaper option available, I just don't know exactly where to look.

How much did you/would you spend on a wedding planner who isn't fully hands on, but helps with design, deadlines, and day-of coordination?

For more context, this would be a ~70 person wedding not in a major city.

An early contender for most hated commercials of 2026

My fiancé and I have been picking apart this Aldi commercial for tens of minutes. We can’t escape it and it gets worse every time. Kevin, if you see this and you haven’t yet seen this, prepare to be confused and annoyed, and please consider it for worst commercials of 2026. We’re currently trying to figure out if the husband has a disorder or if the joke is just “dumb man at grocery store!”
