I’m having errors in games installed on the internal HDD.
I recently got an Xbox 360 Slim, used a USB exploit to run Aurora, and installed an old WD Blue 250GB as an internal HDD after flashing the firmware so the console would recognize it as official storage.
Everything seemed fine at first, but while playing GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City, the game randomly crashes during gameplay. Before that, I also got a “disc unreadable” error, and later the console showed E71.
Do you guys think this is more likely related to:
the internal HDD,
NAND/system corruption,
or instability from the exploit itself?
Would it be safer/more stable to just use the HDD externally through USB instead of internally?
