Taking my CPAP mask off at night. Should I use camera to record myself sleeping. Any suggestions?

image for some humor.

for a month I've had a problem with taking my mask 1 or 2 hours into my night with no memory of doing it.

some extra info I'm on a waiting list for my next appointment for 2 months. called to be on the list for cancellation and everyone seeing this doctor is holding onto their appointments for dear life. I have to wait.

I've tried melatonin and sleep aid and it works for about 6 hrs before my mask comes off. I don't want to destroy my kidneys tho so I had to stop. I will fall asleep like a rock within the first hour with the mask on and after that no memory in the morning for what happened?

have you guys tried using a camera before to record your sleep to see what happened? is there a cheap brand with good quality I could use until my appointment to maybe see what's going on? is it just the leaks in the mask because of side sleeping?

I am also aware of two things

  1. The mask (foam) is new and oscar exists but I can't for the life of me read the specs that come out.

  2. it could be the pressure but I have it set to 9 and i wake up at 11 it could just indicate that I need it to be higher but when I set it that high when going to sleep my body panics and I can't stand the high pressure. because setting it on auto also wakes me up.

I'm losing sleep over this hheeellllppppp ;-;

Told a young coworker today that the way her coworkers talked to her was not ok.

nothing nsfw related.

had a chat with my coworker f18 just out of highschool. she told me that the coworkers at another department said that "she wouldn't make it in this job." absolutely awful behavior and she said it was "ok and didn't think much of it."

I told her straight up "no one should talk to you that way and it indeed WAS NOT ok that he said that."

tho I did not offer any advice she looked uncomfortable and looked worried. I get it, but to anyone with young coworkers please don't be afraid to step up and let these young women see the "real" world. don't let them be the next victim of work place abuse just because "it's how they grew up." give them a chance to set up boundaries. I do not want them to become the next "working hard rewards you with more work"
