MDR Z1R carrying experience and amp questions

I finally got the z1r and was surprised with how big of a box Sony shipped it in. When going to the post office, I expected it to be a small box which i will easily put in my backpack and then walk home. But I had to carry this huge box(3rd pic) in light rain for like 50 mins as the post office is 40 mins away but it took me longer to walk home due to the size of the package. When I opened the package, it had multiple airbags at the bottom but there was a lot of empty space on the sides and especially at the top so I'd say their packaging is very inefficient and they could have packed it in a much smaller box with some foam. Anyways, I'm excited to use them and they already sound good without an amp but I'm looking to pair it with an amp to get the most out of it.

What amps would you recommend? I'm thinking it would be better to get something with a 4.4mm balanced collection input since I've heard that headphones work better that way. But I've also heard that chord mojo 2 doesn't have the circuitry for a true balanced connection and their input is just an adaptor so you don't really get the benefits of a balanced connection with it. I'm looking at amps from schitt, topping, fiio and ifi. There are so many options and I'm suffering from analysis paralysis. I can't get the tazh1es because it's discontinued and used ones on eBay are 3k+ and I'm not playing this game. I'm also looking to demo multiple amps at a shop. My main use for these cans would be for watching movies and considering that do you have any advice on how to properly compare different amps? I'm worried the store owner might do something with the amps to make the more expensive one sound better so that id buy that. I'd prefer to keep the cost to less than 1k but can go much higher if there's a clear noticeable upgrade in sound quality

Amp/DAC combo for Z1R

Hello, I'm looking for an Amp/DAC combo for the Z1R? The options by Sony(TAZ-H1ES and DMP-Z1) which seem to be endgame are discontinued.

I don't have a strict budget but anything around 1000AUD would be good although the cheaper the better but I'm certainly willing to increase my budget for noticeable improvements in sound

I plan to use it at home and it would be connected to my PC and mainly used for watching movies/shows and videogames.

This will also be my first amplifier purchase. I'm new to high-end audio and have just bought the z1r

Amp pairing for MDR-Z1R

I've ordered the Z1R and am looking for an amp now. Unfortunately the TA-ZH1ES has been discontinued. So what amp can I currently get that pairs well with it? Ideally maintains its sound signature

Arya Organic vs MDR Z1R

I have narrowed these two contenders as the best of each category(open and closed backs) for movies. Arya benefits from wider soundstage and detail, whereas Sony has better comfort(potentially) and better bass. They also say sony has a more cinematic(warm) presentation but that may or may not be a plus for me?

For those that have tried both, which would you recommend for movies? Or would you recommend any open or closed back headphones than the one I have selected for movies? I'll just be using my headphones at home which is pretty quiet. And I'm aware that Z1R is twice the price but let's not consider price at the moment as both are within my budget

What headphones are considered the best for movies? I currently just use the momentum 4s to my tv but planning to upgrade by connecting an amp to my Bluray player which will have an audiophile grade headphone connected to it

Does anyone have any experience with complaining to consumer affairs about uber?

The food was uneatable and their automated support keeps denying me refund and they don't seem to have a way for customers to contact them and all support options just lead to automated ai messages. Does anyone have experience complaining to consumer affairs ? How did it go?

How does the hd800s fare for movies? I was looking to buy them because multiple ai models were calling it the best open back model but luckily found out that it has very poor bass. I imagine that would be a mood-killer for movies? To those who own the hd800s, how is the movie experience?
