Raises a milky slurry, but unfortunately it seems to load relatively quickly. One interesting point is that deburring was extremely easy (although this could be due to its lower aggression). Creates a decent, working edge. A stone I'll probably use occasionally, just because of how great it feels.

So the box alone made me start thinking it might be a thuri, it feels slightly lighter than a UK slate to me, it's very smooth, almost chalky. It produces a slurry very easily, and the slurry is smooth and silky, almost muddy, but if used just with water it can self slurry a little, quite milky. The colour seems to be grey/brown, with the slurry a light grey. It flattened quick, which makes me think it's on the softer side
