Ankle bell for blind dog/any tips welcome

Hi everyone so I got a lil 4.5 year old blind batpigshark (blind early due to PRA) and obviously he bumps into stuff sometimes, generally fine, but he bumps into me a LOT. I understand he wants to be close to me, plus velcro staffy does not believe in personal space lmao. However unfortunately he's the *PERFECT* height to hit me RIGHT in the back of my knees, and if I am having a fibro flare up this can be very painful/make me fall. Someone told one way to help is to wear a bell around your ankle so they can know where you are. I tried to get an anklet online which made almost no sound so that was greatly unhelpful. Wondering if anyone has experience with this or a suggestion for some kind of anklet that is louder. Bonus points if it's cute lol.

Also just any tips or tricks you might have for blind dogs! I would love to know any helpful 'hacks'. Since he's so young and has a thick lil skull he is so bouncy and doesn't seem to care when he bonks his head on stuff. He's fine around the house but he's been known to try and run full speed ahead into a bike rack. We recently got a different harness for better control but would love any other gear ideas, training tips, etc!

there are times when you simply do not beat the ADHD allegations. activated charcoal sides DOWN beyond sausage, tiny po-ta-toe, and some kale simmered in garlic onion and balsamic. we could have had it all 😔 +70 nutch not pictured

Those of us who had the chance to grow up with out the internet for a while, and hate the apps, where are y'all going to meet people irl? I've tried speed dating but I'm a little weirder than your average person, and they were too normie for me. Not that I am opposed to anyone, pretty open. The tricky part is I'm nonbinary. Somehow identifying with neither gender is too hard of a concept for people to grasp so they just go 'ok huh girl but I say a different pronoun' or they think I'm a trans girl which is misguided but honestly a compliment to me. That being said if the first question someone asks is what your genitals are- that's gonna be an immediate no from me dog. Where are the genuinely open minded, rooted in their own hobbies, semi cynical, sarcastic, able to laugh through the horrors type people hanging out these days? Emphasis on 30s and up, if you haven't gone through the hell of living through your saturn return AND 9/11 we aren't gonna vibe lol

we got some potatoes and onion starting to going alien mode + green beans on the brink of freezer burn 🙃

various random faux meats probably in that category as well

majorly need a grocery run so it was a ransack the pantry time. ended up making a savory sauce with coconut milk, tahini and some other stuff. turned out good but trader joe's onion crisps was my enemy for topping this time

first attempt at tvp bacon bits kind of a flop... haha let em ride too long but she's part of brown meal anyway

Moved here a few years ago and haven't quite found a coffee shop that tastes like home. Got spoiled in the bay, we had a few Yemeni coffee shops and a Palestinian one that did amazing things like a tahini latte. Near Chinatown would be great, but willing to trek (within reason) for some cardamom coffee. Bonus points if you're sitting in and it comes out in the little long handled pot grounds IN lol. EXTRA bonus points if there's somehow a spot that exists like this that also has hookah (getting a little greedy there with that request but shooting for the stars haha). I know there's gotta be at least one coffee shop that does it but where is she? Feeling homesick for the ahwas on every corner
