Pig Butchering Scam using Real Crypto?

Hi all,

I understand how Pig Butchering scams generally work. However, as far I was I aware, they would use fake crypto websites instead of real crypto like TrustWallet and Binance. My Ex-Wife and her Grandmother are caught up in this, so I was wondering if anyone could probably provide more details about how real crypto is being used since they're supposedly "making money" with Grandma's "country singer from Tennessee boyfriend" she messages on Telegram but I have no details. I know at one point in November her Grandmother received 0.00962695.... of an unspecified coin from a 0xdadB...3711 wallet and 11 other alerts from TrustWallet based on a notification in a screenshot. If that was Bitcoin that was nearly $1000 at the time. Maybe they're being used a middle-men for money laundering?

Thanks in advance

The Cornbread Chronicles: Officials Announce Planned Toll Program For Big Four Bridge Beginning In 2027

Louisville, Kentucky- Officials in Kentucky and Indiana announced Saturday afternoon a new toll program is expected to begin in 2027 for pedestrians and recreational traffic using the Big Four Bridge connecting Louisville and Jeffersonville.

Under the proposed program, pedestrians crossing the bridge would be charged $3 each way, while individuals using bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, or similar devices would pay $4 per crossing.

Officials say the program is being introduced to help offset rising operational and maintenance costs tied to the popular pedestrian bridge, including lighting upgrades, structural inspections, security patrols, cleaning services, and emergency response improvements.

According to transportation officials, toll collection systems would likely be installed near both entrance points of the bridge before the 2027 launch date. Electronic payment methods and app-based access systems are also expected to be included as part of the rollout.

Officials also announced a proposed specialized enforcement division tentatively referred to as the “Bridge Safety Patrol Unit,” which would reportedly assist with enforcing toll compliance, pedestrian safety regulations, emergency response calls, and security operations along the bridge.

The announcement immediately generated strong reactions online, with some residents supporting the proposal as a way to maintain and improve the bridge long-term, while others criticized the idea of charging residents and tourists to walk between Kentucky and Indiana.

Officials say additional public meetings and discussions regarding the proposal are expected throughout 2026 before final implementation plans are approved.

Traffic and pedestrian studies connected to the toll proposal are reportedly already underway.

The Big Four Bridge remains one of the most visited attractions in the Louisville metro area, drawing thousands of pedestrians, cyclists, and visitors weekly.

IgLou

I've recently been advised that AT&T fiber is installing in my neighborhood. I'm more of a tech focused guy and will be doing prosumer stuff with my network. Can anyone technically inclined speak from experience in terms of interactions with IgLou? I believe I've been advised in the past they're more knowledgeable than AT&T support.

Thanks in advance!

Getting the run around from Phone reps for a Domestic Violence Situation

Hi all,

I'm assisting a friend that was abused and whose ex had spectrum under her name. The spectrum service has been able to be cancelled but the ex still has the physical equipment. I understand that she is technically liable for the equipment but the fact the only answer we've gotten from phone reps is "physically go to the person you have a restraining order against and get the equipment" seems very impersonal. Is there any way to contact someone may be able to grant an exception? Or at the very least, somehow take over what she owes and have it put on my account without her knowing?

Thanks in advance
