Trying to figure out if this "collection agency" is real or not
I got a call recently from a supposed collection agency called "gotonotice" that claimed I had nearly $1300 in overdue medical bills dating from 2023 all the way to 2025. Asking my primary hospital I go to, they said there was nothing on my account overdue, and checking the emergency room I visited last year, they said the only fee they could find on my account lined up with 2025. The supposed collection agency did have a bunch of information that seemed to line up with a legit place like my full legal name, the last 3 of my ssn, and my current city, but looking around online I can't find anything with the domain name, but there was two direct links to websites along the names of "creditors bureau usa" with sketchy looking websites. Has anyone actually heard of these? Is there some actual legit website/number I can use to ask?
