I just kinda want to jump ahead what I already know is coming if they initiate the draft. Due to the Military Trans Ban, thousands of Gender Diverse Service Members are currently on Administrative Leave pending separation. Including myself. I want to say this for all my Gender Diverse Service Member Siblings: We Served Faithfully.

Based on attitudes towards "Draft Dodgers" in the past, and the general behavior of the Modern Right, I fully expect them to try to shame us for not being Service Members in a time of war. Don't let them forget that we were kicked out without Just Cause. We are not a community of Draft Dodgers, the Trans Community is full of thousands of individuals who took an oath and were willing to put their lives on the line for their fellow Americans. That's something not even a lot of Trump Supporters are willing to do.

I hated my time as a Trans Soldier, but, I will never feel ashamed for my role/work (small though it was) in the generalized organization, and I hope most of you won't either.
