I bought the new SMS laser Axis which is just a laser and light combo which I thought would be nice solution for the price ($169 shipped). My initial idea was to get a sure fire 340 DF but I realized I dont like the bulk or compromise in grip due to limited real estate on the Kuna.

Originally attached the laser/light with a spare pic rail piece I had laying around but it felt unbalanced. So I was browsing some configurations and decided to order a knockoff hydra mount to test and ended up with this setup. Overall it feels comfortable, balanced and doesn’t compromise my grip while hitting the on/off button under the diving board.

Going to run it for awhile and see how it goes

Added the holosun PID plus, the laser was pretty much zeroed out of the box and this addition makes this even more fun to shoot.

Any recommendations on a loader for the magazines? My thumbs are killing me

Ran 150 rounds unsuppressed and 50 suppressed and had 1 malfunction. Shell casing failed to eject.

Overall pretty happy with everything minus the handguard. It came with no instructions and the lock up is questionable. Also the barrel nut doesn’t fit any tools I have and it didn’t any documentation to reference what size crows foot so I just took an open wrench and torque it to german specs.

What are you guys running?

I’ve been running a lot of federal automatch 40gr but wondering if there is anything better for $23 bucks a box of 325rds.

Anyone recommend the 45 grain Winchester Super Suppressed?
