As of April 19 I understand that the spigots at the campground are off and only dry camping allowed. However is it possible to fill 5 gallon containers faucets in the bathrooms? Or is it possible to Mcgyver a hose to connect a sink spigot?
It would seem that with the River trail closure until June there is no way to get from South Kaibab to Bright Angel Trail except by Tonto Trail? If true, any thoughts on that route?
Is there accessible water at Burro Spring and Pipe spring?
I was out hiking and was amazed to see how many people were backpacking with the REI tags still attached to their gear. Everything from big backpacks to tents and so on. I had my own theory but decided to ask a few that said they were all going to return the gear after their brief trip. So be it. What I want to know is what is REI doing with all these returns that I could buy it so lightly used?
