Playing with a friend, are we missing something?

We cleared the murlocs north of Cierzo, went back two times when we got the crystals to open the stone doors only to find some health potions and part scavanger armor.

We cleared the north bandit fort and found nothing.

We cleared the south fort, saw a cool ship in the distance, and got nothing from all the guards and chests outside of a red shield from the named guy.

We are lugging so many resources with nothing to craft, killed so many enemies with nothing to gain, too much food to eat.

The most fun we had was juking around enemies in the fort, blocking them with gates and letting them fall into the pit in that one room.

Enemies hit hard, but it is so easy to just juke them or switch aggro and hit them when their back is turned.

I liked how the guard in Cierzo thanked us for clearing the fort, but where is the progression? We got all the skills and recipes, are we supposed to rush to one of the three factions instead of exploring?

Tried using bows, bombs, traps, but why bother when a single hit with a melee weapon coated in decay deals 5 times more damage.

First time reading the manga and watching some scenes in anime after I finish arcs...the anime ruins fights by removing speed from them

Started reading 3 months ago, just finished Dressrosa.

I love the manga, and I am truly not making this post to offend anyone, but the anime sucks ass.

I would expect looking up fights in the anime would make them better than static manga, but it is the opposite.

Recent example is the King Kong gun. In the anime it is a 2 minute ordeal where he is pushing against the holy bullets of Dofy with cuts of characters yelling, in the manga it was a split second hit that fucked Dofy up.

But that is the point, his gear 4 attacks are like rubber spring pistons, quick and strong, not this prolonged pushing ordeal.

Another example would be Leo stringing up the officers before they got healed, in the manga it is like 3 panels, which showcases his speed, in the anime he is dragging them around slowly.

The music has no hype or oomph to it at all, it is the same since 1999. Something epic is happening and that fucking hypeless trumpet starts playing slowly. Compare it to reverse situation or strong and strike from Naruto, or anyhing from AoT.

When I read Naruto, Jujutsu, AoT or Chainsawman, looking up anime fights elevated the experience. Naruto is old and was slow aswell, but it picked up pace as it went, with amazing fight scenes and pumped up music that still had the original feel to it. The other two are more modern in presentation.

I know that Wano elevates the anime quality, so I hope it is way better than this.
