My computer is older and Killer is such a PIA. It brings my upload speed to a near stop. I reset the controls and it always seems to revert back. This is an example of how "well" killer works.

Killer is killing me. I get anywhere between 700-980 Mbs download but upload is always around 1 Mbs, I have to disable Killer to get normal upload speed.

Speed test results just now before disabling

Testing upload...0.60 Mbps

After I toggle off the prioritize engine and auto bandwidth everything goes back to normal.

Since Killer causes this for so many people why is it even preinstalled?

Installing a whole house dehumidifier in a basement. The purpose is to dry out main floor above. The house has electric heat so no ductwork. My plan is to cut an opening in the room above. The unit I bought is aprilaire 130E. It is built for 10" duct. Can I use an immediate reducer coming out of the machine? If so how many inches can I go down? Narrower will be easier space wise. Or do I use reduction collar at grate vent? If I reduce duct will it cause an issue with the dehumidifier? I have not been able to find 10"radius floor vent duct boot.
