Beginner mouthpiece for an adult

Hi!

I got myself a trumpet and I'm doing a bit of self study for the time being.

I've been playing clarinet for 15 years and I decided to expand my skillset for fun. I teach at a local music school and atm I'm the only wind instrument teacher.

I've been watching some beginner videos on the trumpet, and one of the creators mentioned how 7c mouthpieces stunt early growth in students. Lo and behold, every trumpet in my school's rental has a 7c 🥲

I do feel like the mouthpiece is a little too narrow for my mouth. I can somewhat easily play low C and G, high C is a real pain even though Bb is okay.
One exercise I saw recommended to do every day was to take out the mouthpiece and glide around the same range I'm playing on the trumpet. I have not been able to do it. I can't get a full glide on it and I actually have a smaller range on it than with the full instrument.
Suggestions and exercises would be much appreciated!

Is Modern Hebrew Totally Different from Biblical Hebrew?

Langfocus posted a new interesting video, comparing modern and biblical Hebrew

I'm generally a fan of his work, I think he brings a lot of good research into his videos and (modern) Hebrew was the first language he ever learned.

I'm aware that the phonetic reconstruction he brings is probably a mishmash of different eras, although I think it's fairly excusable.

His discussions of the grammar of the language and the move of verbs from an aspect system to a tense system is really good.

I very much appreciate that he talks on the subject from a place of curiosity, that he's well read and knows his stuff.

I haven't gone too deep into the comments on the video, so I don't know what corrections people issued, but I'd love to hear what y'all have to say

Nvm, found it

I think it's like a Drake review or something old where Michael is referenced and Todd says he can't or doesn't want to outright claim Michael Jackson was a pedo, but says something like the quote above, and says "yeah that should calm down the discourse".

Thanks!
