Found these a long time ago at a thrift store. Just now getting around to practicing with polish! It’s a set of four so I have a long ways to go, but thought I’d share the before/after!
I went and got some silver polish and cleaned this little guy up! Even his expression looks brighter now! I missed a couple of spots but he’s looking a lot more vibrant.
He was only 50 cents at a rummage sale but I don’t plan on re-selling him. Buddy has had a nice glow-up and will be proudly displayed!
There also appears to be some text underneath the sunburst hallmark that I can’t make out. This is an exercise in translation and in deciphering handwriting!
Found this pretty vase at the thrift— it’s about 7” tall. Any guesses at the script would be welcome, too!
Found this pretty little vase while at the thrift. Vase is about 7” high and made of porcelain. I couldn’t find a visual match for the hallmark and the script on the bottom was difficult to read. It’s almost like there are two marks superimposed upon each other! Any guesses would be appreciated.
Tiny little silver fox salt cellar. Technically purchased at a rummage sale. Tips on cleaning him up would be much appreciated! 💕 The mark on the spoon reads 18-8.
