Be sure to tune in for next weeks episode of Market Manipulation Monday!

if there was a "scheduled attack" planned for tomorrow, trump wouldn't have been able to shut his fat mouth up about it.

he would have been posting AI memes about Iran, not aliens and space force...

Fox & Friend's Weekend host and Transpo Sec's wife is now also trump's personal assistant, evidently...

even tho trump can't spell her name...i guess "our" taxpayer money doesn't mind that part, tho.

Biden has been gone for 16 months. Xi wasn't talking about Biden, FFS. 🙄

IT'S BEEN SIXTEEN MONTHS SINCE JOE BIDEN LEFT THE WHITE HOUSE.

got rejected from a job based on “immigration assistance”. i was born in Tennessee 🙄

"Unfortunately we are unable to provide immigration assistance or sponsorship for this position, and thus will not be moving forward with your candidacy. "

It's an American company HQ in Ohio. This is annoying because I am actually that person who sends the cover letter and highlights parts of my experience and resume to match the job…

yes, my parents were also born in USA.

eta: i feel like i would have caught the follow up questions after the “do you need sponsorship?” question…i don’t think i did this on accident, i’m not saying they did it on purpose…i’m just saying its annoying AF for the amount of time and research i put into a job application. i’ve been reading a fair bit of rejection emails, and this was a first! (yes, i’ve reached out to the company)

edit 2: i logged back into the profile on the company website to check my application, and they don't give a way to view it 🤷‍♀️

UPDATE:

The company emailed back and said it was their mistake…and still rejected me.

>It has been brought to our attention that you accidentally received an email stating that we could not proceed with your application due to requiring immigration assistance although your application states you do not require such assistance. We apologize for the miscommunication and error in receiving that message.

>After thorough review of your qualifications, we’ve decided to further pursue candidates whose skillset and/or experience more closely align to the current needs of that particular team.

so, at least i know it wasn’t me just not paying attention, and i didn’t do anything wrong on my end.

Iran's frozen assets 📣 NEVER EXISTED IN THE US! He is BIGLY lying.

Iran did not receive direct payments from U.S. banks under the JCPOA; instead, it gained access to its own foreign assets that had been frozen due to sanctions. The funds were related to Iranian foreign reserves, not direct payments from the U.S. government.

adding: it should also be noted that Iran didn't actually 'get' that money from the US. The funds were actually Iran’s own oil revenues that had been sitting in South Korean banks for years, blocked by sanctions. Since no major banks wanted to manage those assets, the money just sat there in South Korea. When it was finally moved in 2023, it never even entered the U.S. banking system...it went straight to restricted accounts in Qatar where the US Treasury keeps a constant eye on it. Iran can't just withdraw cash; the money can only be used to pay for humanitarian needs like food and medicine after being heavily vetted...

Ruby is the first dog I've ever had that doesn't have a noise phobia, i didn't desensitize her, she just never did. she comes from a hunting/working line, so maybe it's just built in her purebred pedigree.

my last "mostlyhoula" (RIP, buddy) was afraid of any noise above the spoken word pretty much, bless him. and we have a **lot** of fireworks for any reason at all here in N Ga, so i made a lot of sheet forts and covered crates. i even had to coax him out of our dryer once, the fireplace, and the kitchen cabinets. bless him again.

I like to think Ruby is good karma coming back to me for all the years we kept Leo safe from the scary noises. :) but I'd do it for her if she needed it!

also, **YAY RAIN!!!**
