Multiple Bilibili sources and industry insiders are reporting that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has undergone a major internal disruption.
According to the claims, producer Xia Siyuan has been dismissed by Lingze Technology, the original development team has been disbanded, and the project is reportedly on hold indefinitely.
The alleged trigger was an internal decision to convert the entire dev team into an outsourcing structure, which the team strongly opposed. After failed negotiations, the team was reportedly dissolved and many staff were laid off.
