The BLM website says May 1 is the typical opening date, but Google Maps seems to think it is still closed. I am planning a trip at the end of the month and am wondering if I should expect to be able to take the road from 65 to the overlook. Thank you for your help.
I am trying to understand how the Loop shuttle stop works. The website lists the following:
> In the afternoon, shuttles headed up to Logan Pass will stop at The Loop to pick up passengers that need to get back to Logan Pass to transfer to shuttles going eastbound.
But it also says:
> All riders must have a wristband verifying their ticket. Verification occurs at the departure location noted on the ticket.
I'm having trouble understanding what this means. I am staying on the East side. Do I just need a ticket from the East side shuttle to be able to get picked up at the Loop by the West side shuttle and then transfer to the East side shuttle at Logan Pass? Or will I need to secure two tickets, one for the east side shuttle and one for the west side shuttle?
