Who lives? Who dies? The market will decide.

Pick a character. Bet if they’ll live, or die. Your opponents are doing the same.

Once bets are in, spend to manipulate the outcomes. Buy assassins to raise death chances while someone else is stacking bodyguards to keep their pick alive. The odds shift in real-time as everyone tries to tip the scales.

Between rounds, hit the shop. Grab jokers that bend the rules. Cards that pay extra when your targets die. Cards that reward risky all-in bets. Cards that punish safe plays. Build your deck, find the broken combos, and try not to go bankrupt before only one character is left alive and the sharpest bettor is crowned the winner.

My involvement: Game design, creative direction, development. We're a 3 person team and all pitch in.

Elimination Markets: a roguelike deckbuilder about assassination markets

Elimination Markets: a roguelike deckbuilder about assassination markets

Me, my brother and our friend are working on Elimination Markets, a cyberpunk style game about a future when prediction markets are used to decide who lives and who dies.

It's loosely inspired by betting roguelike games like Balatro. It's in open beta and we're looking for people to try it and share feedback, it's free on itch io and you can play multiplayer with friends on Discord. No ads, no microtransactions.

Any constructive criticism on the game, concept or anything else would be much appreciated!
