It’s done!

I shared my prototype a couple weeks ago, finished the finally design and printed for my daughter! It’s perfect and takes so much less space than the boxes did! I’m so happy with how it came out. So fun to see it all come together from just an idea!

Lots of people inquired about my selling it before. I listed it both physical and digital. Happy to share the links if interested 🤗🤗

Been updating a project all day. Tons of work. Froze. Tried to get it working had to refresh. Tried version history, it doesn’t know today exists. All of the days work is gone. Fortunately, I had already exported the stls for everything so I don’t HAVE to redo it. Unless I want to edit them again down the line. 😭😭😭😭

So I designed this car freshener holder for my laser cutter (striped) realized that I could make it easily in 3d for printing and could make it smaller too. First attempt (og big size purple) the clip broke and stupidly trusted bambu and it printed face down filled with supports I could barely get outcome. Second attempt I stood it up, less supports but turned to spaghetti half way through. Third attempt on the cool plate, worked great but the clip decided not to print right? So weird. Idk, I just broke it off and I can glue a metal clip I had from the laser ones to the back. (Purple) The big win though was I also adapted it to the skadis, figured i could freshen up my craft space since it’s in a garage 🤣🤣. It printed beautifully and doesn’t take much time or filament. (Teal) it’s cool to realize I was kind of already designing in 3d sorta and how easy it is for me to recreate the stuff I already designed for 3d printing!

You might have saw my organizer I am making for tonieplay games I posted here yesterday but I don’t have the whole collection of games yet. If anyone could provide some measurements for the ones I still need. I need dimensions for:
The Winnie the Pooh booklet
The Lala lindos picture book
The Disney quiz board folded and the diameter and thickness of the coins.
Inches and mm would be awesome.

Thank you TIA!

Wanted a way to organize the tonieplay games so I made one!! I’m proud of myself, it’s my first 3d print model.

I never “start slow” with things lol. When k got my cricut my first project was an entire sheet of labels for jars. For my first 3d model design. I wanted a way to organize my daughter’s tonieplay games for her toniebox. Having not designed in 3d before I started where I knew, in illustrator. Designed it in 2d all the dimensions and angles then went to tickercad. Ended up bringing in my SVG for most of it. At first I thought I bit off more than I could chew but fumbled my way through. Gotta reprint the base but overall it’s perfect!

This is my second thing I have designed from scratch! (The first was ambitious and needs some tweaking) but this one was easy and exactly what I needed for my ikea skadis boards to hold this little measuring tape! It’s so cool to go from idea to made. Never really done 3d design before so it’s a whole new thing for me. 🤗

So i was playing with the app and was annoyed I couldn’t get the camera to work on my phone. I live in a 3 story house, printer lives in the bottom story so it’s nice to pop in to the camera for a peak while it’s working. Anyway more often than not it just loads a black screen. Well today I tapped the full screen mode by accident and the feed popped right up! So if you’re having the black screen glitch try that next time.
