Got my fertility panel results back

I'm TTC our second child, I turned 39 last month. We are going on cycle 5 this month. We had a chemical on cycle 2.

I know it’s recommended to wait 6 months before getting testing/considering assistance, but given my age, I reached out to an IVF clinic right after the chemical in February.

We are still getting tests done over the next weeks including my husbands SA. And we are meeting with the doctor next month to discuss the result.

But since I got the results back for this particular panel, I was curious to ask this community about their experience if they’ve been in my shoes.

AMH: 1.45 ng/mL
Estradiol: 51.8 pg/mL
FSH: 9.8 mIU/mL

My main concern right now is whether my husband and I should just jump straight into IVF. Or continue to try naturally.

The government will cover 1 round. And we only have the budget for 1 round out of pocket. So we’re realistically looking at 2 rounds. Which I’ve read can sometimes not even be enough for a woman my age.

Part of me doesn't want any medical intervention at all; to just continue trying naturally, with a cutoff of summer 2027 if it hasn't happened. Then it's not meant to happen.

The other side of me weirdly wants to just jump in with two feet into IVF. Just make it happen as swiftly as possible.

It's this in between of deciding is giving me a lot of stress and anxiety.

I was hoping the labs would give us a bit more clarity on the best course of action.

Got my fertility panel results back

I'm TTC our second child, I'm not quite 40 years (I turned 39 last month), but I know this community probably has a lot of experience with TTC around this age, so I was hoping to get some input. We are going on cycle 5 this month. We had a chemical on cycle 2.

I have an appointment with our doctor at the fertility clinic, but it won't be for another month or so, as we're still in the process of getting tests done. Including my husband's SA.

AMH: 1.45 ng/mL
Estradiol: 51.8 pg/mL
FSH: 9.8 mIU/mL

My main concern right now is whether my husband and I should just jump straight into IVF and not wait. Or continue to try naturally.

It's this in between of maybe we should do IVF...maybe we should wait...that is driving me crazy.

I was hoping the labs would give us a bit more clarity on the best course of action.

I know blue is often a cool color so I’m prone to saying blue. But not sure why this particular blue seems more warm to me? I’m new at this. So I’d appreciate any tips.

I've honestly been so skeptical about the whole overtired concept. My son has lower sleep needs and very rarely seems overtired. If he's reached his limit, he will just start to fade off and fall asleep wherever he is. He's currently 20 months.

I won't get into the details, but yesterday he had a very early morning (5:15 am when our usual DWT is 6:30 am) and a short-ish nap at daycare (about 50 min, when it's usually 75min).

By 6 pm or so, he had completely started melting down. Everything was whiny whiny tatrum tatrum. He didn't even want to eat his dinner and whined through his bath, which we cut short. A huge change from his baseline temperament/mood.

We gave him his evening milk, and he totally zonked out drinking it. Couldn't even stay awake for brushing teeth and story time. So we just put him down at 7:30pm. His bedtime is usually 8:30pm.

He woke up 3h later, CRYING his head off, and struggled to settle for almost 2h. It's almost as if they treated the early bedtime as a long nap. And then needed that mini wake window.

This morning I got him up at the usual time of 6:30 am. I'm hoping we can get back onto our normal schedule today.

My son gets very similar split nights when he is under-tired. The main differentiator is that he seems fine in the evening. He is in a good mood and can make it to his bedtime no problem. but then he wakes up 3h after he goes to sleep, cries like crazy, and struggles to go back down.

I guess I want to put that out there, because I know so many parents are confused, "Is my baby under-tired or over-tired?" I think their behavior and mood around bedtime are real clues.

I've been thinking a lot about the state of content marketing and internet content in general. Everyone is overrun with short-form informational content, and I think people are TIRED and burnt out with all this "lessons learned" porn.

Content marketing was originally supposed to help people; now that everyone posts their most "valuable lessons," this type of content has become tired and overdone.

I have mostly worked in B2B SaaS. This is hypothetical and may vary by industry. But if someone were to hire me to build their entire inbound engine from scratch, here is what I would probably go for.

Linkedin: I would recruit 2-3 senior leaders who want to be linkedin advocates, optimize/brand their pages, and get them posting at least 2-3X per week. I wouldn't force them to follow a strategy document or focus on educational/informational content. Rather, I'd simply ask them to post about their lives, what they are doing, and any random thoughts/realizations they've had. It doesn't need to be neat or have any type of clean "lesson learned," in fact, the more organic the feeling, the better.

Linkedin company page: Keep the company page active with basics: new employees, company events, product announcements, job openings, etc. Company page content is 80% centered around people. 3X per week.

TikTok/Instagram: I would find a content creator specialized in the industry to create short-form, humorous skits and videos. One format 2-3X per week. This way, it's a no-brainer. Not "what do we post today?" We only post skits, that's it. No one wants educational content on Insta and TikTok. This would be purely for brand awareness. It's all about relating to the target market.

Blog/GEO/SEO: I would invest in some blogging, but be very discerning with what is published. The focus would be purely on mid- and bottom-funnel pieces that help the brand get discovered on LLMs. We are really only targeting people who are solution-aware and more serious about buying. Absolutly no more fluffy TOFU pieces in the blog channel again.

YouTube: I would launch a YouTube channel and conduct a long-form interview with a subject-matter expert 2x per month. This is the real deep dive and educational content.

What do you think? I'm honestly open to hearing what other content marketers are doing and if any of these programs have worked well.
