Any good eyeglass shops for high rx?

I would really appreciate any recommendations. Just want to broaden my options. I've already tried Mod/ern Eye, Sny/der Opt, Coh/en's, Sams/ Club, Cost/co, Wal/mart, and various other independent shops. I'm willing to travel up to 2 hrs radius from CC.

I feel like I can't trust google reviews bc a lot of them come from people with lower rx. The worst place I went to adjusted glasses really badly, which is probably the first sign to run, but they then proceeded to measure the pd wrong, told me they never measure the optical height, and somehow gave me a product that was off several degrees from the actual rx. I questioned this and they said I've been working for a decade, trust me. The redo also didn't work. They have even more good reviews compared to the better shops.

Any recommendations for best eyeglass place?

I would really appreciate any recommendations. Just want to broaden my options. I've already tried Mod/ern Eye, Sny/der Opt, Coh/en's, Sams/ Club, Cost/co, Wal/mart, and various other independent shops. I'm willing to travel up to 2 hrs radius from CC.

I finally have the correct rx and pd now, but it's a bit complicated because with a higher rx, the glasses have to sit perfectly and stay there.

It could tilt 2 degrees or change sitting angles or shift away from the ideal optical center, and I would be able to tell bc of visual related symptoms like eye discomfort, headaches, or nausea. No, my eyes will not adjust (tried already multiple times). I've been told "it looks straight to me" when I can clearly see that the glasses are tilted from my vision and in the mirror.

I'm looking for good frame adjustment for asymmetry of head shape/ears - the above shops have various degrees of skill with regards to this. Even within the same shop the workers' skills differ. Too tight, I get tension headaches, too loose, it slips out of place and goes out of alignment causing the above symptoms. I just want to be able to walk out of the shop with working glasses and without having to fiddle with the fit at home.

2022 Hrv My entire driver side footwell had about 4 inches of water today. We tried to get most of the water out and then took it to the mechanic (not an official dealer) asap who just unclogged the moonroof and said just soak up the water. They didn't check anything else. I drove there, so the car was still driveable. I'm planning on getting a wet vac to get out anything leftover tomorrow morning since it's surprisingly difficult to find a wet vac service around here unless it's for detailing.

I see some people mention that there are electronics located along the A pillar of the driver side. The mechanic didn't check anything but that the duct was cleared. Do I need to remove any panels to take a look? Or will just wet vac on the footwell area suffucient? The footwell but also the latches to open the hood and gas cover were wet. It rained earlier last weekend and yesterday, but there wasn't any mildew smell so I think it was from yesterday's rain.

Thanks for any advice.
