i have a Mars 2 pro I've been using for ages now, i love this thing and it works like a dream, but ever since i had to replace the elegoo screen with a chitusystems one i keep having the exact same problem within the exact same time: the screen just dies in a random monday EXACTLY 6 months after i bought it
i get it, i use it A LOT (I've used up at least 12kg of resin in the time i had this specific screen) but shouldn't screen failure show BEFORE it fails? besides, this is not the rule last time this happened i had not used nearly half
usually when i see screen failures on the subreddit you'll see stripes then more stripes and then it just doesn't work anymore, mine IS NOT LIKE THIS, it's just working fine all day doing its thing, and then the calendar hits EXACTLY 6 MONTHS and stops doing anything, AND THIS IS WHAT'S KILLING ME, WHY EXACTLY 6 MONTHS?? IS THERE SOMETHING I'M DOING WRONG HERE? or are these some lower quality shitty screens, the original screen i got from elegoo (not chitusystems) lasted at least 1.5 years
got this camera last year, and r aecently i went back to it, it never really worked but now I'm curious, how would i go about figuring out what's wrong with it? I'm not sure where to begin, i have attempted to fix my other camcorders and so far they're working even worse now, i want to do this properly
edit: i believe i should be more clear with what I'm looking at here, heres a list I'm sure works
now i cannot tell for sure it records, I can't see ir playing anything as well
this is some of the stuff i can't assure work
It doesnt appear to be something obvious, every time i shut off my computer my time stops counting at some random time and i have to re-sync manually when i boot it back up, its been like this for at least 2 weeks
i must make clear though it STOPS at a random time while its shut down, for example (i shut off my computer at 11pm, i boot it back up at 9am and the computer clock shows 5am, so theoretically it was counting up to 5 am and stopped..?)
I've done the usual things people recommended on older posts, new CMOS battery, diasbled automatic sync, enabled automatic sync, changed the time manually inside the BIOS, changed the time manually in the OS
Is there an non-obvious way this could have been broken? is there something i'm missing?
My machine is running windows 10, version 22h2, 19045.6466
