With the exception of The Warning, I haven't seen any good rock bands in the last 10 years.
I noticed Yungblud who seemed to dress like a rock star and have that kind of attitude but when listening to his music, I found it was really more pop than rock. Where are the rock stars? Where is the good music? If you know, please share.
I'm looking to go back to school and pursue Psych. I'd be starting with my master's and hopefully working to my PsyD.
I'd need to work while I go to school and I thought I could get my LMFT and then work in that field while I work on my PsyD, but I realized CSUN doesn't have LMFT options as part of the Psych Department, it's through the Education Department.
So now I'm not sure what to do. If I get my Master's in Psych without LMFT, what can I do while I'm in school for PsyD?
I might be way off base, I'm still learning about how to do this so please be kind. Any advice is appreciated!!
I want to preface this by saying the first time I saw her was in the This Is It movie and she blew me away. She's such a huge inspiration to me and female guitar players everywhere. She's an amazing talent and I adore her and her music. I saw her in concert last year with Joe Bonamassa and I can't wait to see her play again.
Ok... Everything she's posted recently is a heavily filtered thirst trap. She's at a frighteningly low weight and it looks like she's had her nose, lips, and boobs done. She only ever wears lingerie now and her fliers look like those 90's porn hotline ads. I get wanting to look good and feel sexy, but she looks like a different person from This Is It. I have to wonder who is doing her pr and why she's ok with it.
3 days ago she posted a video with what looks like a bruise on her forehead saying she had no idea how it got there and maybe she fell over in her sleep. Then in a comment she said it might have been from a hot hair straightener?
Is she alright? Is she dealing with body dismorphia or an eating disorder or something more serious? She's such an incredibly talented person. I wish she knew that whoever told her she isn't enough was dead wrong. I know fame and talent don't equal self acceptance. I'm just concerned.

So my doctor refused to listen to any perimenopause concerns I had and said I was too young. I'm 38. But I've also had terrible, irregular, painful periods my whole life and I can't stand the thought of having another one. So I talked to my doctor about going on the pill and skipping periods. She didn't even bat an eye at the thought of birth control. She put me on a low-ish dose. That was a week go.
My god. I can think again, I'm sleeping better than I have in years, brain fog is at a minimum, fatigue is way better, my acne is clearing up, and I like doing things again. I don't know if it's it's just excitement or positive outlook from the first week, but I feel so much better.
So I don't want to give advice, but this is working for me, so much so that I felt I needed to share it.
So at night before bed, I wash off my makeup and my mascara ends up all over my eyes and towel. My undereyes are all saggy now (probably from years of rubbing mascara off with the towel). What are you all doing to take your mascara off in a more gentle way?
It's been 15 minutes and car after car without mufflers going who knows how fast have been barreling down the freeway nonstop. Go ahead and get killed racing, but does it have to be so damn loud? Wtf?
