Hey everyone, just wrapped up a 3-day getaway to Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar and wanted to share how the XSR performed two-up!

The Setup:

As you can see in the pic, my metallic silver XSR 155 is pretty loaded up. Since I was riding with a pillion this time, I specifically installed a new luggage carrier and a backrest. The backrest was an absolute game changer for my pillion's comfort on those winding ghat roads. The carrier handled our bags effortlessly without throwing off the bike's balance or making the rear feel too heavy in the corners.

The Ride & The Trip:

We based ourselves out in a Hotel in Panchgani. The wooden cabin/tent vibe there was incredibly relaxing, and it was the perfect quiet escape from the Pune heat.We spent most of the trip just taking in the outdoors. No trip up there is complete without the mandatory strawberry-themed stops! We grabbed some fantastic pizza, loaded up on fresh strawberries, and spent the late evenings just unwinding by the resort pool.

Final Thoughts:

The XSR handled the climbs and the extra weight beautifully. It didn't feel sluggish on the inclines, and the pillion setup made all the difference for a fatigue-free trip. If you're on the fence about touring two-up on this machine, getting a solid backrest and a proper luggage rack is 100% the way to go.
