Hi ,

I want to get a more comfortable seat for my ktm adv390 X. I have even bought the touring seat from KTM but its a little too hard.

Please suggest shops where I can get this done.

Also what is the fair price generally for a seat cushion modification.

I had called Pawar seat cover in hadapsar and he quoted 3.5k

Is this a good price ?

There is something undeniably special about hitting the road before the city wakes up. At 6:30 AM, with the crisp morning air setting the perfect tone, I kicked off my ride from Chandni Chowk. The route took me through the winding, scenic stretches of Bhugaon and Paud, steering away from the concrete jungle and heading straight toward the tranquil surroundings of Pawna Lake.

My destination was the historic Wagheshwar Temple, submerged for part of the year and accessible only when the lake waters recede. However, as any adventure rider knows, digital maps don't always tell the whole story. The GPS route brought me to an abrupt halt—the temple was in clear sight across the landscape, but there was no discernible path forward for a vehicle.

Thankfully, the best navigation system is often local wisdom. A kind, elderly resident happened to be nearby and pointed me in the right direction.

Navigating the final stretch is where the real adventure begins. There isn't just one straightforward road; instead, the landscape opens up into multiple off-road trails scattered across the rocky, dry lakebed. Depending on your riding experience, your vehicle, or whether you are behind the wheel of a capable SUV, you can choose a line that suits you best. For my Hero Xpulse, the rugged, uneven terrain full of loose rocks and dirt mounds was exactly what the bike was built for.

Reaching the lakeside was incredibly rewarding. The area was quiet and beautifully raw, complete with horses grazing peacefully right by the water's edge, perfectly mirroring the serene environment.

If you are planning a ride to Wagheshwar Temple, prepare for a bit of a treasure hunt at the end. Trust the locals over your map, embrace the rocky trails, and enjoy the pristine beauty that awaits at the water's edge.

The idea:

• Early morning rides

• Routes like Tamhini, Mulshi, Lonavala

• Good people, good machines

• Occasional chill scenes and after-ride hangouts 🍻

• Building an actual community, not just random rides

No rash riding, no ego, just consistency and a solid vibe.

Planning the first ride soon (Pune to Tamhini).

Keeping it small (around 10–15 riders max) so the group stays strong.

How often you get your ride washed!!??

Hello, my friend owns a duke 200 (2018). He gave his bike for servicing at baner ktm service center and went home to his hometown. When he got back to pune he found it is not working at all and some edges are broken too. Can’t blame service center directly because his friend who received the bike didn’t check it and not sure how it happened.

That’s another story, now when we went to service centre it’s costing Rs. 10500 for new replacement. Is there any other alternative, like do you any local shop where it can be repaired. He’s also open for second hand meters too.

Let me know your suggestions :)
