I still believe Ash is a shady fraudster. Justice Needed for the Bird!!!

Ash was confronted once again today by Christie about the allegations and claims towards Ash.

The only proof Ash had available today was her email confirmation of bottom surgery that took place a month ago, as Christie and many others had doubts about it. As Ash was giving specific details, Christie nearly vomitted.

Aside from this, and in case you have missed what's been going on, the following allegations are still in question:

- Stolen Valor. (Ash claims the Department of Defense is asking a lot for credentials of military service). There was a pic provided but it was determined to be someone else in that pic. So as of now, I'm still thinking Ash has stolen valor.

- Killing her pet bird. Ash claims she accidentally stepped on the bird while walking down the stairs, and asked others for money to buy a new bird. Others claim this would nearly be impossible as birds tend to be quick to move. Either way, animal abuse has been committed. BIRD JUSTICE IS NEEDED!!!

- Stealing money from a charity. There was mounts of evidence provided by Jedi and Allison regarding this, and in response to this was, Ash simple said: "No, I didn't", as Ash was suspicously wearing a brand new Hello Kitty jacket :D.

- Ash's criminal past. Once again, there were mounts of evidence and even a mug shot showing Ash's history of theft, which Ash did not deny and merely indicated: "I didn't physically hurt anyone"

- Ash's transgender history. Jedi revealed multiple times, that Ash started to transition less than a decade ago, despite claims Ash transitioned in her 30s (she's 63 now), and also proudly claimed she's been using women's washrooms for the past 20 years. So in actuality, he was using the women's washroom for 10 years as a man?

- Ash's "daughter". Now this one is a bit muddy, as Jedi confirmed he could not find any records of Ash having a daughter whatsoever. Which doesn't necessarily mean this daughter is non-existent. Ash did lie about being a twin, as it was found out during Jedi's extensive research that Ash's sibllings were the twins. So again, Ash is not truly a reliable teller of truth. I also just wish Ash would stop using this daughter to garner sympathy from others, which in my opinion how he swindles people into giving her money.

So in spite of all this, Ash continues to deflect and say Anthony (a former TikTok colleague) aka PurpleHeartWarrior (a 37 year old man) asked and was willing to pay a 19 year old girl for nudes. I agree with Ash, it's wrong, but we still can't ignore all these allegations against Ash. It's folks like Ash and Lily Tino that are just ruining the public image of the transgender community.

I specifically do recall waiting to watch my first SNL episode when I was 9 years old. (My parents allowed me to have their old standard size Sony TV set in my room)

And that episode was when Jim Carrey hosted for the first time on May 18, 1996 (Season 21 finale episode, almost 30 years ago). As I recall, he was hosting to also promote The Cable Guy. I honestly did not know what SNL was as I thought this was just some special variety show Jim Carrey was doing. Started watching SNL pretty regularly every since.

Some memorable sketches of this episode were:

  • Jim Carrey played a lifeguard for a hot tub that Will Ferrell was using.
  • Jim Carrey takes part as the "third" Butabi brother (The recurring Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan sketch where Haddaway's What is Love song plays through out most of the sketch)
  • Jim Carrey playes legendary actor, Jimmy Stewart on the "Joe Peschi Talk show" and ends up beating the other guest, Jim Carrey played by Mark McKinney, using a baseball bat.

How did Lionel know that Lex had murdered the doctor and hid the body right underneath the church where he was going to get married on his wedding day? This was of course right after the doctor attempted to blackmail Lex for $2 million, otherwise he was gonna tell Lana that Lex had forged a pregnancy on her with this doctor's unethical assistance.

Lionel implied he even knew within a few hours after the murder as well, as you may recall Lionel tells Lex about it right after the wedding, where he angrily smacks Lex across the face, calling him "pathetic" for this whole over the top shenanigan.

Had the chance to see the recently released documentary, Lorne (directed by Morgan Neville) this afternoon. Today was the last screening of this before my local theatre was going to remove it from its list of films shown. In case if anyone was interested to see this, here is an overall synopsis and review:

The documentary didn't really reveal any new knowledge or info especially if you follow SNL history and the stories already told. A good portion of the film was very similiar to James Franco's documentary from 2010 (Saturday Night) in which we get to see the meetings that take place during the week (pitch meetings, dinner with the host of that week, dress rehearsal etc.)

What this documentary uniquely explored was mainly the mindset of Lorne Michaels through out the years of SNL's run to present time, considering he is somewhat of a mysterious figure with a zen like demeanor. The documentary briefly explores his time away from SNL after the 5th season in 1980 to 1985 when he returns to SNL. And subsequently, the challenges involved in "reinventing" the show as cast members have come and go through the years.

Friends of Lorne and SNL alumni are interviewed giving their accounts of what it was like to be around Lorne. And of course, this enabled several of these SNL alum to once again demonstrate their exaggerated impressions of Lorne including a clip of Dr. Evil. During this segment, Lorne is fondly accounted as someone who values and vouches for the cast members especially during the 1990s when he was getting a lot of flack from NBC higher up, Don Ohlmeyer. (Ohlmeyer was notably critical of Adam Sandler and Chris Farley as he deemed them "not funny". And of course detested Norm MacDonald who was legendarily defiant with his Weekend Update OJ Simpson jokes as Ohlmeyer was close friends with OJ).** Ohlmeyer's disdain for these SNL cast members eventually led to their firing from SNL despite Lorne's contension on these decisions.

We also get glimpses of home movies and pictures of a young Lorne during his bar mitzvah and his time in summer camp where he eventually met his long time friend and notable composer, Howard Shore, somewhere in the the late 1950s Canada, who also eventually became his musical director for SNL for the first five years. We briefly explore Lorne's move to Los Angeles to work on "Laugh In", then back to Canada for his own short lived sketch show on CBC, and then back to the US again to work for Lily Tomlin, in the early 1970s. His time working for Lily Tomlin eventually landed him the time slot to create SNL.

We then cut to present time where Lorne takes the documentary crew to his getaway farm property in rural Maine, reminiscent of the time he spent at summer camp during his youth.

A pivotal scene towards the end of this documentary is when he has a dinner with Steve Martin where Steve asks him : Do you think you will retire soon? Lorne, simply dismisses any plans to retire any time soon as he candidly feels that SNL in itself is really dependent on him.

All in all, it was an enjoyable documentary for those who are really interested in SNL history and a satisfying salute to Lorne Michaels after 45 years masterminding this show. I imagine this documentary will be streaming on Peacock some time soon if you didn't get a chance to see it in theatres.
