Tradycyjna kanapka podróżna

Bułka z masłem, szynką wędzoną i serem. A na zagrychę pomidorki. Dwa.

Robione hotelu, więc bez cudów.

Condo in "The Spaceship"

A bit disappointing interior - the condo looks fairly normal. Now it's a product of 2019 remodeling.

Originally it was more curvy, and corresponding with the building shape, as we can see it on those old pictures of unit "M"

The building is like out of this world, though. It houses 13 one bedroom condominiums of various sizes.

About the architecture:

https://www.nhregister.com/connecticut/article/30-years-later-guilford-architect-reflects-on-11380059.php

The developer of the Whitfield Shore condominiums, built in 1985 on the site of an old restaurant named Berenice’s, 446 Whitfield Street in Guilford, asked architect Wilfred J.O. Armster to create “something wild.” Armster’s modern design has such a distinctive appearance that it has been popularly known as the “Spaceship” ever since it was built. Proposing the construction of such a futurist structure in a town filled with so many colonial and nineteenth century houses led to a heated public hearing; but the building was approved and was built with Armster himself as general contractor.

Rare Midcentury Techbuilt gem.

Actually pretty cool house.

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/3135-Asbury-Ave-Arden-Hills-MN-55112/2155684\_zpid/

FYI:

Techbuilt houses, launched in 1953 by architect Carl Koch, were a highly successful line of prefabricated homes designed to address post-WWII housing shortages with low-cost, high-quality, and customizable options. These modular homes were available in up to twenty-two models, constructed from standardized four-by-eight-foot modules, and sold over 3,000 units across 32 states within their first decade.

The Techbuilt House could be constructed (on average) for $7.50/sf, as compared to $10/sf for a conventional house and $15/sf for a custom-built house.

Currently there are just over 400 houses mapped in the US.

Former Roberta Flack home with incredible outdoors

Mid century residence includes a recording studio, adding unique character (expected more from that room).

The plain kitchen is also a surprise.

Lots of glass and very airy house, however I would mostly enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

Makaron serem jak za PRLu:

(Cebula i boczek najpierw podsmażone, makaron ugotowany a na końcu dodany do patelni, krótko podsmażony i wymieszany, żeby nabrał smaku. Wszystko posypane pokruszonym chudym twarogiem i przybrane cebulką dymką).

It "looks" small but it isn't, however the architecture is a little funky.

There is a room on the top floor dedicated just to the bathtub. Kinda like it but

Not sure what that stuff in picture #13 is. The front facing kitchen island looks unfinished.

Rooms are in several levels with a step, probably pretty challenging for a toddler. Especially the one, from a kiddo's playroom to the office looks pretty dangerous, on #36. What were they thinking!?

The"open face" steps (#38) looks like a bad idea.

What's the grey glass thing on the left side (#39) - a glass window to the floor below? A view into a play area?

Weirdly wild or wildly weird - you name it!
