BREAKING NEWS: a fork found in kitchen

BREAKING NEWS: a fork found in kitchen

I’m most likely late to this. I don’t know how to explain but while it feels shocking and “newsworthy” I think it’s just a reflection of society or culture because this was something we have to deal with every day. Yes, not every day do you let the store get this bad. But it was so frequently that it’s like “who raised yall?”. And there’s comments saying the same thing and it’s like “well if nobody is doing this, but it’s getting done at every store somebody has to be doing it”. with running skeleton crews, calling the sales floor associates, managers, etc to hop on the register it eventually just becomes playing a game of catch up and you’re weeks behind.

Of course the question becomes how do we prevent this? And corporate would answer “yall need to patrol the sales floor more frequently “ but how can that be done if there’s nobody on the floor or everyone’s in line?

How to get certified to use the motorized pallet truck?

So I understand/know that the cap 1/2/3 team leads can train us and then somebody that is certifier back there certifies you. But my question is more about how does the process look like exactly? Because I’m usually closing so I will have to talk to the cap 2 TL but I feel that they’re always busy (pulling the truck, pallets, etc so I don’t know the exact details of what cap 1 or 3 tls do) so I don’t want to be bothersome, even though that’s kind of the whole reason why I want to be certified (to not bother them when I need a pallet of TVs from topsteel).

So like how long does it take to be trained, once trained how does the “exam” to be certified look like, and anything else I should know?
